Scenario: Residential Electric Scooter Fire
What to expect: In this residential training scenario, trainees address a multi-story house fire ignited by a charging electrical scooter in a child's bedroom. Coordinated efforts with handlines are crucial to conduct search and rescue operations for remaining occupants as they advance towards the upstairs fire base.
3pm, Wednesday 18th September
Scenario: Navy NH90 Helicopter Crash Fire
What to expect: In this naval training scenario, a NH90 helicopter crash on a frigate deck exposes a torpedo to fire. The trainee's task is to wait for the foam cannons to clear a path to the helicopter and then assist their crewmate in cooling the exposed torpedo.
11am, Thursday 19th September
Scenario: ARFF F35 Engine Fire / F16 Brake Fire
What to expect: In this ARFF training scenario, trainees are presented with multiple scenarios, including responding to an armed F16 aircraft with a brake fire and an unarmed F35 aircraft with a fully involved engine fire, both stationed on a runway. The task involves effectively smothering each fire using the correct application of suppressant techniques.
